We’re moving to Durango, Mexico! The official name of the city is Victoria de Durango in the north-western state of Durango. It is an old colonial city with many original buildings still standing that date from the 1700’s!

The school has about 650 students, some from the United States, but the majority from Mexican families. Instruction is in English, preparing the students for the possibility of attending a University in the United States. I’ll be teaching High School math and Erika will be teaching Kindergarten. It will be a change for both of us, but we are extremely excited and cannot wait to begin!

We will move at the beginning of August, just a couple of weeks after our July 16th wedding. We will be writing details in this blog of our preparations and continue once we arrive.
